Sender number
You can purchase and subscribe to a number with multiple capabilities.
However, you only need a number with SMS capabilities for 2FA functionality to work. In order to purchase a number, use the sidebar menu.
Select 'Numbers' > 'My numbers'
On this page, you can select the country and capabilities for your number.
The country will determine the country code of your number, and additionally, there is a regulatory requirement option. Enabling this option will show you numbers that do not require an address or documentation.
Please note: on MessageBird you will need to top up your account in order to purchase a phone number.
Search for a number and select the number you wish to buy.
After you select “Buy”, you will be asked to top up your account. This will be displayed on the right-side panel menu.
Once you top up your account, you will have funds to purchase and subscribe to a number.
Once you have subscribed to a number, go to numbers > My numbers
and copy and paste your active number on the MessageBird Phone Number
field on Contract Signatures (SMS Shipper Config).
Save the configuration in Contract Signatures global settings
Now you are ready to save the configuration.
