A signee may choose not to sign the contract. Perhaps the document was sent for signature too soon and more work is needed on it before it is in a position to be agreed to.

In those circumstances, the signee can reject the contract.

To do this, the signee clicks “Reject”.

For security, a 6-digit code will be sent to the signee’s email. Once received, the signee will enter it at the top to confirm that they are rejecting the contract.

Now the document shows as “Rejected” and the signee will receive an email confirming this.

Your audit trail will show that the contract has been rejected. When the contract has been amended and is ready to be signed, simply start the process again by clicking “Create”.
