Rejecting the contract
Watch for changes
A signee may choose not to sign your Jira issue. Perhaps more work is needed on it before it can be approved/agreed to. Or perhaps the stakeholder simply does not want the work described in the issue to go ahead.
In those circumstances, the signee can reject the contract.
To do this, the signee clicks “Reject”.
For security, a 6-digit code will be sent to the signee’s email. Once received, the signee will enter it at the top to confirm that they are rejecting the contract.
Now the document shows as “Rejected” and the signee will receive an email confirming this.
Your audit trail will show that the contract has been rejected. When the issue has been amended and is ready to be signed, simply start the process again by clicking “Create”.
