Inserting macro
You can insert the desired macro using the /
command. This will display a list of all possible macros, including built-in and other plugin macros. To narrow down the list to the target macro, start typing its name after the /
. For example, /html
.
Here are two options presented.
From file or URL
If you have a pre-made file or document that you want to display, choose this option.
A panel on the right side of the page will appear with the following fields. You can use either a URL or a Confluence attachment.
If both are selected, the attachment will have priority.
If the right panel does not appear, click on the spot where the macro was inserted, then click the pen icon.
From Page Content
If you want to display content with a specific macro but don't have an existing file, you can create it from scratch using this option. This is also useful if you want to manually edit the content before displaying it.
After inserting the macro, insert a code block first.
Write your content inside the code block. The code block is necessary to ensure that no other formatting is applied to the text before displaying the content.
