Using External Share for Jira you can share links with option to change the status by an external user.
This feature is disabled by default. You have to enable issue transition on global and project level
1. Global level
Click the “External Share” button in the project side panel and go to “Global Settings”
Go to “Project Configuration” and click “Edit default configuration” or “Create new configuration”
Enable Issue Transition
2. Project level
Go to “project configuration”
Enable Issue Transition
Allow change status in link options:
External user is now able to change the status!
