Description
External Share allows secure sharing of Jira issues, boards or filters with External Users with no additional licenses! Share links with external users, allowing them to follow updates, add comments and attachments, or change issue status on live Jira issues.

Get External Share for Jira
Install directly on your Jira Cloud instance
1. Click “Apps” in the menu at the top of the page
2. Select “Find new apps”
3. On the marketplace, search for the app
4. Select “Try it free” to start a 30-day free trial
When the free trial is over:
If you added credit card details or linked a PayPal account you will be automatically charged.
If you use bank transfer, check or ACH you will receive an email with a payment reminder. You will have a 14-day grace period.
If you have not paid for the subscription, the created links will still be available, but you will not be able to create new links or edit existing ones

Getting Started
On any Jira issue, click the External Share tab on the activities panel.
Once you've created your link and selected the options you require (see Link Options for more details). You can also send the link directly via email.
You can customize the format of your email, decide if you want to share the password, and add a friendly message
Click the External Share button in the left menu to see all links that have been created in Project.
You can create here External Share Filter and External Share Board.
The shared issue displays the issue summary, description, Status, Assignee, Reporter and Components by default. In the Project Settings, you can manage shared fields.
The External User will be able to add comments and attachments or change issues status if those options have been enabled in link options!
