A custom domain?
Whether you wish to highlight the identity of your company or perhaps increase creditability when signing documents with other parties, a custom domain may help you achieve that.
When a custom domain is set, signers can view and sign documents on your domain.
Contract Signatures for Confluence manages the signing process on our default domain, contract-signatures.com
In order to change that, there are a few simple steps to follow.
Configure DNS for subdomain
First, you need to point your DNS provider to the Contract Signatures domain DNS target contract-signatures.com.
You usually configure a new CNAME record with your DNS provider to point it at Contract Signatures.
The trailing . on the target domain may or may not be required, depending on your DNS provider.
Consult your DNS provider’s documentation for specific instructions on creating CNAME records.
Set up a domain
Confirm you are the owner of the custom domain name. You can purchase a custom domain name using a domain registration service.
Point your DNS provider to the Contract Signatures domain DNS target at,
contract-signatures.com
The trailing . on the target domain may or may not be required, depending on your DNS provider.
Add your domain
Navigate to Contract Signatures Global Settings
Click on the apps dropdown menu on the navigation bar of confluence
Click on Contract Signatures
Select the “Customization” tab
Under the “Custom domain” section you will see a checkbox “Customize domain”, check this box ☑️
Right below this box, there is a “custom domain” field, enter your custom domain address
Click on the “Update domain” button (This may take a few moments)
Your custom domain is now set.
